Provost-Area Centers and Hubs

The Office of the Provost supports a portfolio of centers and hubs that extend the University's academic mission beyond the boundaries of individual schools and departments. These initiatives address areas of strategic University-wide importance — from expanding access to education and supporting student success to advancing emerging fields like AI and data science and strengthening pathways to college for the next generation of Pitt students. By housing these centers within the provost's office, the University ensures that efforts with broad institutional impact have the senior academic leadership and cross-unit coordination they need to thrive.
