At the Faculty Honors Convocation, the University of Pittsburgh gathers to pay tribute to the outstanding achievements of our faculty members that characterize the quality of academic life at the University of Pittsburgh. We also applaud the many contributions that these individuals make to the institution and the local community.

Where will the convocation be held?

It will be held in the 7th floor auditorium in Alumni Hall, located at 4227 Fifth Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15260.

Where will the reception be held?

A reception for all honorees will follow immediately after the convocation in the Connolly Ballroom, Alumni Hall.

Who can attend the Convocation?

The Faculty Honors Convocation is by invitation only.

Should I wear regalia?

Regalia is not a part of this ceremony, and it should not be worn at the event.

Where can I park?

Paid parking is available in Soldiers and Sailor Memorial Parking Garage and at various University-operated garages on campus. Parking is also available at the metered spaces around Alumni Hall.
