At the Faculty Honors Convocation, the University of Pittsburgh gathers to pay tribute to the outstanding achievements of our faculty members that characterize the quality of academic life at the University of Pittsburgh. We also applaud the many contributions that these individuals make to the institution and the local community.

The following instructions are for everyone who will be honored at the event:
- All faculty honorees will receive a personalized invitation emailed to them, along with a specific RSVP link. Please make sure to respond by Friday, March 10.
- Please arrive at Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hall by 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 16. The ceremony begins at 3 p.m. in the Grand Ballroom, which is located on the third floor.
- Faculty members who are being honored will have reserved seating. Ushers will be on hand to assist as needed.
- The convocation is open to the public, and your family is encouraged to attend. The celebration of honored faculty continues with a reception immediately following the event in the 3rd floor lobby of Soldiers and Sailors. No tickets are necessary.
- If you have a disability and require special accommodations in order to fully participate in the ceremony, please advise the Office of Special Events at 412-624-7100. We ask for your cooperation in notifying us as soon as possible.

Regalia is not a part of this ceremony, and it should not be worn at the event.
Are tickets required to attend the ceremony?
The ceremony is open to the public, and families and guests of those faculty being honored are welcome. No tickets are necessary, and families are invited to join honorees at the reception afterwards.Where can I park?
Paid parking is available in the Soldiers and Sailors Garage and at various University-operated garages on campus. Parking is also available at the metered spaces around Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hall.
