The Faculty Team in the Office of the Provost is seeking an Associate Vice Provost for Faculty Affairs to focus on special projects including implementation of Interfolio, expansion of the Provost’s Advisory Council on Tenure and Promotion (PACTP), and development of the next Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) with the Union of Pitt Faculty.
As noted in the job description, the opportunity is open to current members of the Pitt faculty who hold the rank of tenured full professor.
The new Associate Vice Provost can start as soon as available, and not later than the conclusion of the Spring 2026 semester.
