Professional Licensure Disclosures

Federal regulations require the University of Pittsburgh to publicly disclose to students whether each of our programs that lead to professional licensure or certification meet or do not meet the educational requirements of the state where the student enrolling is located.

Licensure Pass Rates

Many professional programs prepare and enable students to seek external certification or licensure after the successful completion of a licensure exam. The following information includes disclosures of licensure pass rates for programs and eligibility to sit for licensure by program and state (when known).

Distance Education and State Authorization Disclosures

The University of Pittsburgh participates in National Council for State Authorization Reciprocity Agreements (NC-SARA), a voluntary, regional approach to state oversight of postsecondary distance education which allows institutions to offer distance education to students in all SARA member states and territories.
