Note: This notice has been sent to all University employees.

Dear Pitt community,

We are writing to share University Policy CS 32 - Anti-Hazing and remind everyone that hazing in any form is strictly prohibited at the University of Pittsburgh. It is crucial that all members of our community understand and adhere to this policy.

Hazing Policy and Legal Compliance

Any individual engaging in conduct that constitutes hazing may face sanctions under applicable University policies. Moreover, hazing can be a criminal offense under Pennsylvania's Anti-Hazing Laws. Pitt aligns itself with both the Federal Stop Campus Hazing Act and Pennsylvania's Anti-Hazing Law to ensure a safe and respectful environment for all.

Reporting Hazing

We ask anyone who witnesses or experiences hazing to report it immediately. Reports can be submitted confidentially through the Pitt Concern Connection.
