The Council of Deans provides advice and counsel to the Provost on academic matters and university-wide issues, including policy and practices, institutional advancement, budget, and planning.
Members of the Council include the deans, regional campus presidents, and the director of the University Library System. The Council of Deans is chaired by the Provost and meets regularly throughout the academic year.
