Dear Pitt community,
Beginning Wednesday, Jan. 28, the University’s Pittsburgh campus will resume normal operational status. Extremely cold temperatures are expected to continue through the week, but conditions on and around campus are improving. Sidewalks and walkways on campus are clear; city streets are becoming more accessible for transportation; and campus facilities will be open, heated, and ready for use. We encourage all Pitt community members to exercise caution and good judgment, take appropriate measures to protect their safety while outside during the extreme cold, and be flexible with yourself and others.
