In support of the Undergraduate Advising Coordination project, five cross-campus working groups have been assembled to collaboratively craft standard interventions for University-wide and college-/school-level processes, using already established best practices.
The outputs of this effort are (1) a determination of a minimum level of service to be delivered to students and (2) resources for advisors across the institution to reference for delivery of the intervention.
The “Big 5” standard interventions are:
- Encouraging and acting upon early progress reporting (EPRs) and making referrals to campus resources
