Pitt is proud of the education it offers all students. The University community is delighted when others recognize the outstanding talents and promise of Pitt students through prestigious national and international honors. Since 1995, for example, the accomplishments of our undergraduates have been acknowledged in one Churchill Scholarship, one Gates Cambridge Scholarship, 41 Goldwater Scholarships, one Huntington Public Service Award, six Marshall Scholarships, four Rhodes Scholarships, five Truman Scholarships, seven Udall Scholarships, and three Woodrow Wilson-Rockefeller Brothers Fund Fellowship for Aspiring Teachers of Color.
