About Pitt/Pittsburgh

The University of Pittsburgh has five campuses, located in Pittsburgh, Bradford, Greensburg, Johnstown, and Titusville. On the Pittsburgh campus, there are 16 schools and a number of University-wide centers.

Pittsburgh is a vibrant city known for its distinctive neighborhoods, thriving cultural district, rivers and parks, affordable housing, and strong urban public school system.

Across the University, no matter what the location or discipline, we share a core set of academic values: education of the whole person, intellectual excellence and growth, teamwork, engagement with the community, and diversity. These values underlie the decisions and the efforts of our administration, faculty, staff, and students.
